This comic is an artistic interpretation of my good friend Alina’s journey with PCOS. Many look over the logistics of being diagnosed with a condition and forget how news of such magnitude can affect a person’s mental, physical and social health. I hoped to have captured the expression of her emotions ranging from frustration, guilt, helplessness, and lost sense of identity.
