<text>My comic reflects on the recent medical history of my 84-year-old
grandfather, Bob Oda. My grandpa was diagnosed with stage 4
colon cancer in August 2021, just a few weeks before I left for
college. My grandparents have always played a significant role in
my life, making this diagnosis much harder to deal with as a
family. I decided to make this comic about my grandpa because I
wanted to show the impact that cancer has on those diagnosed,
and their families. I also wanted to reflect on the strength and
courage it takes one to endure such treatments.</text>
